Before you begin

  • You have access to a Maadify tenant.
  • You have credentials for at least one application you want to connect.
  • You have permission to create connectors, agents, and company relationship agent configurations.

Create and test your first agent workflow

Connect an application

Go to Connectors and select Add connector.Choose an application, enter your credentials, and save.
You see the connector in the list with a connected status.

Create a parent agent

Go to Agents and select Create parent agent.Give the agent a name, set its purpose, and save.

Add a sub-agent and tools

Open the parent agent and go to the Sub agents section.Add a sub-agent, select tools from your connector, and set a prompt template.
The sub-agent shows at least one tool and a prompt template.

Add the agent to a relationship

Go to Companies and find the relationship where the agent should be available.In the Agent Configs column, click Add Agent, select the parent agent you created, and review the tool configuration for that relationship.Click Add Agent Config when all tools are configured.
The parent agent appears as a badge in the relationship row and is available for that relationship.

Test the agent in chat

Open Chat or go to https://app.maadify.com/chat.Choose the parent agent you created. You can select it as the default agent in chat settings, use Select Agent, or add it to the command box and choose it with /.Send a test message that matches the agent purpose.
You see the agent respond in chat and can review each workflow step, including agent responses, tool calls, tool execution inputs, outputs, and sources.
